Here we have a very special machine, for musicians that are dedicated to precise and high-quality tools – a stereo filter bank with an elaborate analog signal path and display for visualisation.

The new WLK-Audio Stereo-Filterbank is based on the well known but rare SND FB14 (Mono) Filterbank. The WLK-Audio engineers have spent months on the development and improvements, making it stereo and more versatile.

The clever selection of frequencies makes sure you always get results that support the musicality of the sound you send in. Also, the overdrive behavior is very elegant. It can be used to push single frequency bands into overdrive, without destroying the original character of the sound.

The display serves as an output analyzer and shows the entire frequency spectrum graphically. This makes precise adjustments much more easy.

The frequency bands are intentionally placed at roughly a fifth distance:

35Hz, 65Hz, 105Hz, 160Hz, 240Hz, 360Hz, 540Hz, 800Hz, 1,2KHz, 1,8KHz, 2,7KHz, 4KHz, 7KHz, 12KHz.
