Hello, my name is Boris Dörning. I´m a lens based artist and motion designer. Graduated with diploma in Visual Communication at HfG Offenbach with the majors Film / Video, class of Prof. Rotraut Pape and Theory of Perception in the class Prof. Dr. Hans Zitko. My artistic approach is rooted in the idea of exploring the seemingly banal. I´m particularly interested in raising awareness of the urban spaces and architecture through which we move every day. I usually focus on fragments. My intention is to archive, analyze and critically reflect on the lived reality.
